Hi, I’m Dinesh.
I am a certified National Tourist Guide Lecturer, Naturalist, and Environmental Educator with over a decade of field experience across Sri Lanka’s national parks, high-altitude forests, and wildlife reserves.
My mission is simple: to show you the wild, hidden beauty of Sri Lanka through the eyes of a scientist and the heart of a local nature lover.
Why Explore With Me?
🔬 Backed by Science
I hold a B.Sc. in Science from the University of Peradeniya and a Master’s in Environmental Management from the University of Colombo. When we step onto the trail, you won’t just see Sri Lanka’s flora and fauna—you’ll learn how these rare ecosystems thrive.
🦜 Expert Birdwatching
With a Distinction in Ornithology from the Field Ornithology Group of Sri Lanka (FOGSL), I specialize in helping travelers discover Sri Lanka’s rare endemic birds and vibrant forest wildlife.
🐘 Real Field Research & Tracking Experience
My background includes hands-on field study observing Asian elephant behavior and social habits, as well as years spent tracking wildlife and leading safari drives across Sri Lanka’s premier national parks.
What We Do at Ceylon Nature Trail
Guided Wildlife Safaris: Scientifically interpreted game drives through national parks.
Birdwatching Expeditions: Targeted trips designed for both casual birders and serious ornithologists.
Scenic Hiking & Trekking: Guided nature walks through private forests, mountain passes, and tea country.
Eco-Education & Conservation: Journeys that respect wildlife habitats and leave zero trace behind.
🌿 “To truly experience nature, you must listen to its story.”
Whether you’re tracking leopards, spotting rare high-altitude birds, or trekking off-the-beaten-path trails, I look forward to guiding your Sri Lankan adventure.
